Beenie Man has announced his first UK show in over a decade for this summer’s inaugural Yam Carnival. The King of the Dancehall will make his long awaited return to these shows next month as he graces the stage on August 28 for London’s biggest celebration of Black music and culture.
It’s been 12 years since Beenie Man performed live in the UK, but the iconic musician will be back over the Bank Holiday weekend for a special one-day event at Clapham Common in London.
In a press release, Yam Carnival said: “Representing the Black experience and influence around the world, featuring the most exciting names from Africa, from the British, American and Canadian diaspora – now Beenie Man adds to a phenomenal crop of artists.”
