Beverley Knight joins UB40 for Sandwell Valley concert

Must read

Soul diva Beverley Knight has been added to the line-up for the open-air UB40 concert at Sandwell Valley Country Park this summer. “UB40: Live from the Valley” is scheduled for August 1, in West Bromwich.

Following the departure of vocalist Ali Campbell in 2008, UB40’s five remaining founding members Robin Campbell, Brian Travers, Jimmy Brown, Earl Falconer and Norman Hassan continue to record and tour with hits including Red Red Wine and Come Back Darling.

They will be supported by one of the country’s best loved soulful voices in Wolverhampton’s Beverley Knight and South London Jamaican-style rhythm and blues band The Dualers.

Tickets to “UB40: Live from the Valley” on August 1 are available, starting from just £40 plus booking fee (£20 plus booking fee for five to 15 year olds, with under-fives free) from livefromthevalley.co.uk
