No dia 22 de Julho, a artista Minister Marion Hall vai actuar no festival Reggae Sumfest, em Catherine Hall, Montego Bay (Jamaica).
A cantora pretende oferecer 3000 bíblias e, na última sessão de orações, agradeceu a quem fez donativos, em especial a Cedella Marley.
“We got 1000 Bibles bought and shipped already in Miami, and I want to say ‘muah’ to Cedella Marley who called. She sent her assistant and said, ‘Ask Marion how much Bibles she need…’. Together with her and some of you, maybe 30 of you, I thank you for whatever you gave… Though my goal is still for 3000, I thank God that we bought a 1000”, disse.
Agradeceu ainda ao seu manager Delroy Escoffery por comprar os livros com Cedella Marley. “I bless the Lord for it. Little is much when God is in it.”
Foi em Abril, que Marion Hall falou sobre querer oferecer pelo menos 2000 bíblias no festival.
O organizador Joe Bogdanovich apoia a ideia e está a criar um espaço para guardar os livros, e organizar tudo para que no dia sejam criadas filas para distribui-los de forma ordeira.
