A Delicious Vinyl Island vai lançar “Destiny “, o álbum póstumo de Lee “Scratch” Perry, produzido por Bob Riddim.
“The Upsetter, the legend meets the new generation of reggae artists, on modern reggae productions”, revela o produtor.
O trabalho é lançado já esta sexta-feira, dia 8 de Setembro. O primeiro single partilha o mesmo nome, e conta com a voz de Evie Pukupoo (AhPuku).
O álbum foi gravado nos 12 meses anteriores à morte de Lee “Scratch” Perry, em 2021. “It’s a collaboration between the restless, prolific pioneer, present at the foundation of reggae and dub, and Jamaica’s rising stars.”
Ao todo são nove temas originais, com praticamente todos os instrumentos tocados por Bob Riddim, numa fusão entre o reggae e a visão do lendário produtor.
