Since the beginning of the pandemic, Maxi Priest has been on the island of Jamaica, jogging its streets, clambering near waterfalls and catching up with pals like Stevie Wonder.
In the latest episode of “GRAMMYs At Home”, a brand-new series where current GRAMMY nominees take us into their homes to show us how they’ll be experiencing the 2021 GRAMMY Awards show from home during the COVID-19 pandemic, watch Priest do all three.
Priest is nominated for Best Reggae Album for his 2019 album “It All Comes Back To Love”; like most other nominees, he plans to park himself on the living sofa to see if he’ll win.
At the end of the clip, Wonder gives Priest a ring to congratulate him on his nomination. “Be blessed, be good,” he tells the master. Watch it all on The Grammy’s website and see the show on Sunday, March 14.
